E-Week 2008

E-Week Open House

You are invited to celebrate Engineers Week 2008 with the College of Engineering at our annual E-Week Open House on Friday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Othmer Hall, 17th and Vine Streets, Lincoln, NE.

E-Week Open House Schedule

Time: Event:
8:30 - 9 a.m. Registration/Check-in
9 a.m. - Noon Engineering lab tours with interactive demonstrations
9 a.m.- 3 p.m.

Hands-on Activities such as the Egg Drop and the Tower of Power

Student Organization Displays & Exhibits
10 a.m. - 11 p.m.

E-Week Keynote Speaker

Nebraska Engineering Graduate

11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Lunch provided by DaVinci's
Noon - 3 p.m.

Engineering Research Fair showcasing the capstone work of senior design students and current graduate student research. Engineering student organization and E-Week corporate sponsor displays.
Nebraska Engineering Information Sessions will be held throughout the course of the day.

Costs

Registration is FREE and all materials will be provided. Register online by April 10. Students should either bring about $5 to purchase lunch from DaVinci's, or pack a sack lunch. Souvenir T-shirts for sale at the event for only $10.

Parking

FREE parking available at the west entrance to the State Fairgrounds near the Bob Devaney Center. Shuttles will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. between the parking lot and the engineering facilities.
